Types
We use different types of moss: flat moss/lap moss, spherical moss and reindeer moss (available in several colours). These mosses come mainly from forests in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the Netherlands itself. There, the moss is grown by hand in reserves by licensed companies.
All our mosses are sustainably prepared, coloured with eco-friendly products and completely biodegradable. Completely harmless to nature.

A moss wall is simply vertical surface covered with moss. It can be a complete wall or, for example, a mobile partition wall or individual moss panels. The moss is prepared. As a result, it retains its shape, colour and softness. No maintenance is required. In addition, this ensures fire safety.
Moss walls are made of different types of moss: flat moss (rag moss), ball moss and reindeer moss (Norwegian or Icelandic moss). Each type of moss looks slightly different. For instance, reindeer moss has more branches than the taut flat moss or fine sphere moss. It is often possible to combine different types of moss.
In general, a moss wall can last between 7 and 10 years. In some cases, a moss wall can last even longer, up to 15 years, if it is cared for properly and the conditions are optimal.
To ensure that a moss wall lasts a long time, it is important to ensure the right humidity, temperature and light conditions. The ideal humidity for a moss wall is between 40 and 60 per cent. The temperature between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius. In addition, indirect light is best for moss walls, as too much direct sunlight can cause damage.
