The challenge

For the new working environment at SEB Professional, Ten Brinke Interior Landscaping was asked by GRIP Interieurprojecten to supply interior planting within an existing overall design. The ambition was clear: greenery that not only enhances the atmosphere, but also contributes functionally to the space. Elements needed to fulfil multiple roles within a clean, urban office environment.

The plan

Based on the supplied design, we provided input on the look and feel of the greenery. The focus was on combining aesthetics and functionality. Interior landscaping was integrated into bespoke furniture elements, including seating with integrated planting, room dividers and planter units alongside workstations. Each element needed to support calm, spatial experience and ease of use, without dominating the interior.

The execution

An urban jungle planting style was selected, using large-leaf plants and a varied mix of species to create a playful, layered appearance. The bespoke planter elements, realised by KEK interieurbouw, combine multiple functions within a single object. They provide spatial division and storage, while the planting contributes to the acoustic comfort of the workspace.
At the entrance from the lift, an artificial green wall was installed. Due to the absence of daylight, this was the most suitable solution, offering a strong visual impact with minimal maintenance requirements.

The result

The final result is a working environment in which greenery feels like a natural part of the interior. The combination of bespoke furniture and planting creates cohesion, clear zoning and a pleasant overall atmosphere. Employees experience a noticeable improvement in acoustics and working comfort. A project where aesthetics and functionality come together in an interior that works, down to the smallest detail.
