The challenge
Intersnack Procurement in Zevenaar aimed to create an office environment where nature and employee wellbeing take centre stage. The goal was clear: greenery should be an essential part of the workplace—not merely decorative, but a key element in supporting a positive work experience and vitality. The challenge was to achieve this on every level throughout the building.
The plan
In collaboration with Office Design from Doesburg, we developed a green concept that reflects our vision: “Restoring the relationship between people and nature.” Sustainability played a central role, with the use of eco-friendly planters and wall planters by Plantinum. We selected a diverse mix of plants and designed custom solutions to meet the ambition of creating a workplace that feels both dynamic and calming.
The execution
Greenery was introduced at multiple heights: hanging plants above meeting and phone booths form a lush overhead layer, while freestanding planters and cabinet-top urban jungle arrangements add natural accents at eye level. Upon entry, seasonal decorative arrangements welcome employees and visitors alike, offering a warm and natural first impression.
The result
Intersnack Procurement now enjoys an inspiring workspace where greenery is fully integrated into the interior. Carefully selected plant varieties with a mix of textures and colours contribute to a serene and pleasant working atmosphere. Staff experience the benefits of greenery every day, and the feedback from Intersnack confirms that together we’ve created a space that truly supports the wellbeing of its users.
